Updated the system to the latest patch cluster release Monday, July 20, 2009 - Kendal
	Last night we updated the system to the latest patch cluster (cluster 5) to fix a couple of issues. The staff client needs an update as well as a result of this update. The Files and Things page has the latest version of workflows linked there. Also we send out the update file via Gmail to each library’s address. You can get the file from there, rename it as outlined in the email, and run that. Either will work. New machines must install using the software in Files and Things.

	I hope everyone will say hello to our new hire Jonathan Emert who will go by JT to reduce confusion. He fills our open System Administrator / Night Support position and gets RSA fully staffed once again. JT has a strong background both in computers and customer service and is an excellent fit with the rest of the RSA Staff. JT is working daytime hours until Jon W. and I are confident he’s ready to move to nights. He willthen work noon - 8 pm. In addition to providing night support and working on the servers, we are also turning over the day to day work on the parameters as well. He’ll be getting his fingers into everything else over time.
